We get to see plenty of event, expo and conference venues around Australia so we’re very well placed to give feedback and advice on some of the amazing event spaces available to you.
We can also tell you of a few to avoid….!
Melbourne has some iconic venues that are always really popular, including the MCG, Etihad Stadium and Melbourne Park. The sports fans in the delegation are always happy with those venues!
Nearby is the new Glasshouse alongside AAMI Park which is a small to medium sized venue
The Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre (MCEC) has rooms to suit every size of gathering – it’s huge! – and the world class acoustics are very impressive!
Crown Conference Centre, adjacent to Crown Casino is a very popular conference venue and is nearly on a par with the nearby MCEC in terms of standard of facilities. From what I’ve been told by previous clients, it is one of the more affordable exhibition and conference venues in Melbourne.
Although not used as a conference or expo venue on a regular basis, Melbourne Town Hall is often used for gala dinners or for the social and entertainment events that often run alongside conferences or trade shows.

Pullman Albert Park
Melbourne Showgrounds is mostly often used for large trade shows and consumer events. You’ll find caravan and camping expos here. I believe it’s a slightly more economical option to using one of the enormous expo spaces that are on offer at MCEC.
