We were delighted to be able to photograph the Activity Based Funding Conference at the Melbourne Conference and Exhibition Centre earlier in the month.
Spread over three days at the MCEC, the conference attracted delegates and speakers from around Australia, as well as many international guests. Speakers included Dr Linc Turecht, Dr Sarah Neville, Prof. Amanda Walker, Prof. Philip Burgess, Prof. Christine Bennett, Prof. Andrew Street and Dr Jason Sutherland
Social events included cocktails at the Melbourne Aquarium and a gala dinner at the Cargo Hall on Southbank.
With previous conferences held in Sydney and Brisbane, we look forward to finding out where the next one will be held. Fiji and Bali are good for us, but we’d settle for Cairns or Darwin!
We were pleased to welcome the Australian Logistics Council back to Melbourne recently for their Supply Chain Safety Summit, held at the Melbourne Park Function Centre. ( In case you’re wondering where this venue is, it’s basically the Tennis Centre on Batman Avenue, Melbourne).
Two days of high level discussion on the importance of safety and how to improve it within the logistics industry, with speakers from the UK, US and around Australia.
We heard from Victoria Police, truck drivers, policy advisers, health and safety experts from the UK and some of the regular faces from other Australian conferences that involve and interest the freight and trucking industry.
We look forward to seeing the team again to shoot the photography at their annual conference at the Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney.
September saw the Australian Logistics Council roll into town to host their annual Supply Chain Safety Summit at Melbourne Park Function Centre.
Melbourne Park Function Centre is an expansive space and ideally suited to large conferences and exhibitions.
With numerous high profile speakers, including the Deputy Prime Minister, Hon Michael McCormack, the most interesting part of the day came from the workshop sessions which involved truck drivers who had the chance to explain to some of the industry’s biggest decision makers exactly where the pinch points and problems lie in keeping both themselves and the general public safe while making deliveries around Australia.

We were delighted to photograph the ATSA Independent Living Expo when it landed in Melbourne this year, before rolling on to Perth and Sydney.
With hundreds of new exhibitors and thousands of visitors over the 2 day expo at the Melbourne Showgrounds we certainly had our work cut out for us, but we managed to photograph the client’s brief and grab a shot of every stand in some form or another.
Thanks to everybody who helped us the expo photography, including the kids who were all keen to pose for photos and demonstrate some of the products for our photographers. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s expo!
We were pleased to be able to provide photography services at the inaugural ALC Supply Chain Technology Summit at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre earlier this month. As with most conferences discussing technology, Blockchain was sure to get a mention!
As a self confessed tech nerd I find that Blockchain still confuses me a little so it was great to be able to listen the Blockchain session which featured Kee Wong of e-Centric Innovations, Aki Ohashi of PARC, Christopher Berg from the RMIT Blockchain Innovation Hub and Chris Zhong, Lead Cloud Architect at Microsoft.
Although I’m not a Blockchain expert, I’m definitely more up to speed with it than I was previously!

It was another big year for the annual ABMVSS Conference held in Melbourne at the Albert Park Pullman hotel and we were selected once again as the official Melbourne conference photographers.
The format of this particular conference needs a large expo space as well as a large ballroom for the annual dinner and breakout rooms for the big line up of speakers they present each year so the Pullman works well for them.
These are just a few highlights from the event photography that we shot over the two days, so if you’re looking for something in particular please get in touch for examples of work.
If you’re planning your own conference at the Albert Park Pullman then please get in touch to discuss your photography requirements and receive a no-obligation quote.
We see plenty of musical acts and entertainment at the conferences and corporate functions we attend around Australia, and they vary in quality from the superb to the downright rubbish! Yes, we tell it like it is!
Before booking a band for your Melbourne event please do contact us to check whether we have seen them in action – we’ll give you an honest appraisal. Better still, we might even have some recent footage of them that we can show you.
One act we’re pleased to have heard on several occasions are the musicians Craig Francis Music who are professionals in their field and know how to entertain a crowd!
We look forward to seeing (and hearing) you guys again very soon!
